Speed shooting
Reduces the time taken to knock an arrow and draw a bow by one second in addition to any other reductions due to the “greased lightning” talent requires that the archer not move and has done some sort of preparation before hand which itself takes 2d20p seconds
The Dar En Kadman dwarves speed shoot using professional grade bows, composite short bows, form a saddle mounted quiver on a stationary horse, preparation usually involves testing that each of the thirty arrows the quivers typically carry will draw smoothly and if not making sure it will.

Power shot
A technique to increase the power and armour penetration of an arrow at very short ranges, this was the technique that broke the army of the Half Ork warlord Iskander at the Harrnaken gates by punching arrows right through their bronze faced shields. It was introduced as a military skill by the commander of the Dar En Kadman army at that battle who latter became the great king after the great council appointed him heir for his victory over such a threat to the empire. It was however developed as hunting technigue against animals with thick natural armour long before that
At ranges of fifteen feet plus five feet per point of bonus of the bow this Talent reduces the damage reduction (DR) of any armour over five by two points, it also means that an arrow will count its full damage against a shield, for the purposes of penetrating it even if it will not cause the shield more than one point of damage to the shield itself. The down side of it is that it increases the total time taken for the shot by one second as it generally requires that the bow be over drawn.
Costs 40BP
Defence bonus Shield
This Talent grants a +1 defence if using a shield of the appropriate type actively it in no way enhances the chance of a shield just passively getting in the way
Costs 10 BP
Mounted Phalanx fighting
This talent allows an expert rider to take part in a formation of closely packed horsemen who ride almost literally knee to knee and nose to tail; it makes the charge of such a formation more devastating as well as allowing for the first few moments of contact the second and third lines of the formation to fight. The last if they are bow armed when they can shoot between their comrades in the forward ranks. Unlike infantry Phalanxes it can not be maintained beyond first contact. so it works only for the first strike and for 2d10p seconds there after.
