The Village at the Water Caves

The  villagers have felled an area of woods just outside the water caves themselves at the source of the Fal burn which latter after joining with the Lax burn which has its source to the north east becomes the Falax river the major local water way.

The majority of the villagers are still camped out in the caves which are not dissimilar form the ones found at the goblin caves having been formed by the same methods. first the action of water and then being expanded to suit later probably humanoid inhabitants. They have been in use by the champions of the free since the time of the Magius who cleared them out and turned them into a way station on the Brandobian side of the heigh pass.  In his time when he was buying hundred of slaves at a time with false coin they where very heavily used Violet who is trying to avoid been quite that successful uses the less but even so they are a place where those she rescues can begin a new life if up until recently they had not been a permanent home for the freed slaves. in the past Violet would see they moved on and where properly equipped to disappear into Cosdolen society.

The fields are planted with vegitables from the stores in the caves and have been dug rather than ploughed as the freed slaves lack a plough. The Cabins are wooden but thatched with reeds from beside the Fal burn

The lower works at the caves now used by the new villagers largely as storage with those still living in the caves doing so in the less cave like rooms up the stairs
