 Violet an Origin story

 Description

At first sight an extraordinarily beautiful Elvish or perhaps Half Elvish woman, except she has lustrous deep purple hair, large white less violet eyes like amethysts & a skin tone of a soft lilac.. When she opens her mouth it reveals a mouth full of sharp spike like very white teeth & a snake like tongue, when she speaks any language, except form either Abyssal or Infernal, she does so with a very distinct sibilant accent. Her tongue also tends to flick out from between her teeth in a rather snake like way when she is concentrating. Her toe and finger nails are purple like her hair, very hard & would form small tearing claws if she did not take the effort to trim them.

She was found living a feral existence amongst the ruins of a town which had been raided & sacked a few years previously by an incursion of demons, summoned inadvertently by a wizard seeking to call a sex demon to satisfy his own jaded lusts. Those who first found her, a group of adventurers who  would have killed her save one of them saw between her shoulder blades a birthmark which he took for the holly symbol of The True & persuaded his fellows to leave her be, because of it.

Several years latter Konstans a priest of The Guardian arrived in the area with a group of settlers to repopulate the area as a free settlement, with the immediate threat from the demonic incursion having passed. He found her & civilised her, raising her as his ward but she was never liked even by those who had not directly experienced the terror of the Demons & she was only saved form lynching & worse by returning or arriving adventurers by his intervention on several occasions. As the Human priest aged it became apparent that she would have to move on which she did the day after his funeral. It sadly cannot be said that any of the locals was unhappy at her decision.  Out of town without her protector or even his lingering reputation things where worse and she learned to avoid the haunts of men as well as of fell beasts and to fight when she couldn’t avoid it. She tried not to kill because something inside her liked to kill & following the teachings of her mentor lead her to believe this something should not be encouraged.

Now alone in a harsh world in which more than most every hand was against her she wandered looking for a purpose, going alone into the wilds to seek communion with her foster fathers god eventually finding it amidst the remains of an ancient temple grove sacred to the Guardian where lost in fasting & prayer she believes that Guardian came to her amongst other darker forces which through the faith instilled in her by Konstans her foster father she rejected & chose The Guardian over them all. She believes that The Guardian chose her as first its priest and then latter as its special champion

Since then she has lead a wandering existence, seeking to help others, only the most desperate will generally accept her help, to in some way to atone for the evil in her inheritance.
