To the Walls

A map done as A3 using a half inch grid enabling it to be printed as an A2 sized battle Matt with inch squares showing the ditch earth bank and wooden fence type walls of the town of Vayham but its typical of the fortifications of small towns in many places, note also the lack of cover in the foreground of the walls where the turf is kept short by sheep and no bushes let alone trees are allowed to grow giving a archer or a crossbowman on the walls clear line of sight for longer than either can easily shoot.
