Esme a portrait

Esme a portrait

This is a work in progress and an example of extreme photo manipulation of a random images of a pretty girl I may not be able to draw people but nearly 40 years of figure painting have taught me to colour in other peoples work and this is an extension of that. the aim is to get it to look like a painting by some one with more talent in that regard as well as to convey the character's personality

a bit further on more work done to texture the hair and give me time to think about the skin tones - the character is Brandobian and from the north where there is quite an admixture of elven stock so I was thinking of a rather northern European tone she has also lived up till recently a distinctly indoor urban life and is only twenty so too tanned and too grizzled is out

Beyond which I have become a bit stuck so I am going to leave it here for the moment and try a slightly different approach with a different image
