Where we are - an update

The session report for Episode fourteen is now done and even though it was a deal shorter than the previous ones it was a lot of hard work form the writers point of view as much of it set the scene for what follows and there was relatively little to be gleaned form the play - the actual play featured two new characters and an NPC and lasted a little under an hour and a lot of it was I have to admit filled by an exposition of events over which the players had no control but had to react to. 

That is really hard when you are breaking in a character who did not exist before that evening. Things should become easier next time as I will be leading them and the rest of the players and there new characters into an adventure which is a more structured environment.

However it did do what it was intended to and inspire me to develop the town of Vayham and it environs and to come up with a scenario not featuring goblins quite so prominantly.

I also know where we go from here, which is more than I usually do
