Race relations in the game part I - introduction

Race relations in the game Part I.

An introduction

This you are to understand the way I deal with it and its not at all cannon even if it is based on my reading of the background material and of the Racial Preference table on page 37 of the HackMater players handbook (HMPHB) here in after.

Player characters,

Are not at all bound by this and may do as they wish even they may and will take honour losses for not conforming to the expected a hero must hew their own path in this as in so many others.

NPC's and the general population.
Specific NPC's like player characters  may come to their own choices but they will all the more be judged by the general society for the choices they make and so penalised for making what that society decides is the wrong choice.

I will in latter parts of this article go on to set out quite how I work this in different regions starting with the area of the campaign and expanding outwards form there.
