Balancing Combat encounters in Hackmaster -

Sometimes the best advice can come from your own experimentation. I
suggest you sit down ahead of the actual adventure when the players are
in front of you; setup the situation as you project it could occur and
simulate the combat several times. Combat in HM can be over quickly and
the best way to gauge the outcome is to plan and experiment. The HM
DMG has good recommendations for planning encounters.

I will update this with additional forum responses as they happen and at present I dont have the GMG as I swore I would wait and get it from Spirit Gamers as I have all the rest of my HackMaster stuff
